Mt. Helix
A 23-year-old woman was killed when she lost control of her car on Bancroft Drive in Mt. Helix, authorities reported Monday.
Lynett Leign Olivier of Lemon Grove was traveling at high speed about 11:05 p.m. Sunday when her car left the roadway, rolled over and came to rest in Eucalyptus Park, La Mesa Police Officer K. Harris said.
Olivier was pronounced dead at the scene. An unidentified female passenger, who was “heavily intoxicated,” was taken by ambulance to Sharp Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries, Harris said.
