BISHOP MONTGOMERY 95 MIRA COSTA 56
Bishop Montgomery raced out to a 30-8 lead in the first period en route to a 95-56 victory over Mira Costa in first-round Pacific Shores Tournament action Wednesday at Mira Costa.
Senior swing man Mike Campbell led the Knights with 23 points, 21 of which came in the first half. His pair of early 3-pointers ignited Bishop Montgomery’s offense, which also got 13 points from junior Michael Wright and 12 from sophomore Joe Magyar.
Senior forward Dave Ellis led Mira Costa with 14 points.
Bishop Montgomery will play Inglewood tonight at 8 at Mira Costa.
