Lazers Try to End Force’s Win Streaks
The Lazers, whose four-game winning streak ended against the Dallas Sidekicks Dec. 2, will be trying to start another against the Cleveland Force tonight at 7:30 at the Forum.
Unfortunately for the Lazers, however, Cleveland has dominated them as has no other team.
Since joining the Major Indoor Soccer League in 1982, the Lazers have played the Force 16 times, winning only once in Cleveland, 6-4, in 1984. The Force (6-3) has won the last nine games and is 8-0 against the Lazers at the Forum.
The Lazers (4-4) are off to one of their better starts, however, and are just one game behind the Western Division leading San Diego Sockers.
