A fight between University of Miami and South Carolina football players last Saturday was not a one-sided affair as South Carolina officials characterized it, Miami Coach Jimmy Johnson said.
South Carolina Athletic Director Bob Marcum said that because of the bench-clearing brawl, he will not schedule his school to play Miami in football in the future.
“I think both teams were wrong,” Johnson said. “I think all parties involved wish that it hadn’t happened, and we all regret that it did happen.”
