Mack Brown, Tulane University’s athletic director and football coach, met with University of North Carolina officials in New Orleans to discuss the school’s vacant coaching job.
In its Monday editions, the New Orleans Times-Picayune quoted sources as saying that Air Force Coach Fisher DeBerry also is to meet with North Carolina officials to discuss the coaching job left vacant with the recent resignation of Dick Crum.
