Ten elementary school students complained of pains after the school bus in which they were riding was rear-ended early Friday by a U.S. mail tractor-trailer rig on the San Diego Freeway in Inglewood, officials said.

There were no serious injuries as a result of the 7:30 a.m. accident on the freeway near La Cienega Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Kimberly Skow said. “There were no cuts, no bleeding. The children mainly complained of minor pains,” she said.

The children, in a Laidlaw school bus, were en route to a Brentwood magnet school when they were rear-ended by the rig hauling a 47-foot mail trailer, Skow said.
