Thirty Eight Go Go Romps to Victory in $123,200 Tempted Stakes at Aqueduct
Thirty Eight Go Go, the high weight at 121 with Kent Desormeaux aboard, took the lead entering the stretch and went on to post an impressive 5 1/2-length victory Sunday in the $123,200 Tempted Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.
Best Number, carrying 114 pounds and Ruben Hernandez, was runner-up, 3 lengths ahead of Dangerous Type, 116 and Robbie Davis.
Thirty Eight Go Go went 1 1/16 miles on the muddy track in 1:44 3/5 to record her fourth win in nine starts this year and her third in stakes company. She earned $73,920 for Janet Wayson and returned $7, $4.20 and $3.
