CSUN Women’s Swim Team (5-0) Wins

Jeanna Geissenger and Lisa Dahl each won two events as Cal State Northridge remained undefeated with a 121-103 victory over Northern Michigan in a women’s nonconference swim meet at CSUN on Tuesday. The Northridge men’s team lost to Cal State Chico, 133-84.
The Lady Matadors (5-0), the defending NCAA Division II champions, dealt Northern Michigan its first loss in seven meets.
Geissenger won the 100-yard freestyle in 54.15 seconds and the 200 freestyle in 1:55.27.
Dahl won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:46.04) and the 500 freestyle (5:19.67).
Ted Hollahan won the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle for the Northridge men (4-1). Hollahan was timed in 46.25 in the 100 and 1:44.02 in the 200.
