Peter Strauss Quits UCI’s Basketball Team

Peter Strauss, a 6-foot 5-inch junior guard from Hilton Head, S.C., quit UC Irvine’s basketball team Sunday night.

Strauss, who had received a scholarship from Coach Bill Mulligan this season after two seasons as a walk-on, had played six minutes in four games and scored one point this season.
