PCAA Roundup : Paddio Scores 29 as UNLV Downs San Jose State
Gerald Paddio scored 29 points, and eighth-ranked Nevada Las Vegas turned back San Jose State, 95-83, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game Thursday night at San Jose.
UNLV (16-1 overall, 6-1 in the PCAA) trailed, 39-38, at halftime before rallying to beat the Spartans (8-7, 4-3) for the 15th straight time.
Ricky Berry scored 29 points for San Jose; Karl James had 19 for UNLV.
UC Santa Barbara 75, Fresno State 61--Brian Shaw scored 20 points, and the Gauchos downed the Bulldogs at Fresno.
Santa Barbara (12-3, 4-1) had a 38-30 halftime lead and shot 61% in the second half.
Fresno State (4-11, 1-5) cut the lead to 48-44 with 10 minutes left, but the Gauchos regained control.
