The body of an unidentified Latino man who had been shot in the head and appeared to have been run over by a car was found in an alley in the 3100 block of National Avenue on Wednesday night, police said.
The body was discovered after a police officer patrolling the area thought he heard gunshots coming from the alley.
When he arrived, the officer found the partially clad body of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, and saw a dark blue Chevrolet Camaro speeding from the scene.
Police are looking for the driver of the car, which they described as a dark blue or black 1970s model with dents on the left rear corner.
