Hit-Run Stabbing Kills Transient
A man jumped out of a car early today and fatally stabbed a transient standing on a street corner near downtown Los Angeles’ Skid Row. The attacker then dived back into the car, which sped off, witnesses told police.
Police, who found some rock cocaine in the 31-year-old victim’s pocket, said the stabbing may have been retaliation for a drug deal gone sour. No one has been arrested in the 1 a.m. attack at 5th and Spring streets.
