Karina Hardman’s 24 points powered Moorpark to a 76-64 victory over Ventura in a Western State Conference game at Moorpark on Thursday night.

Although Hardman, a sophomore from Royal High and the WSC’s player of the week, made only 5 of 20 shots from the field, she converted 14 of 17 free throws.

“It wasn’t one of Karina’s better games,” Moorpark Coach Gary Abraham said. “But Michele Brown really picked up the slack.”
