Pizzolato, Wysocki Top 1OK Field at Redondo Beach
Two-time New York Marathon winner Orlando Pizzolato and U.S. Olympian Ruth Wysocki lead a list of more than 10,000 runners expected to race today in the Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K.
The 10th annual run, billed by promoters as one of the largest in the country, also will feature special categories for wheelchair runners, baby buggy joggers, centipede groups costume competition.
The start/finish line for the 10-kilometer race is in front of the Sheraton Hotel at the end of Harbor Drive.
The race is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
