Former Point Loma High School star Terri Mann is scheduled to undergo knee surgery today and will be lost to the Western Kentucky University basketball team for the remainder of the season, the school announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot 2-inch forward injured her knee in the Lady Toppers’ 75-58 defeat at Southern Illinois on Dec. 19. After sitting out three games in hopes of rehabilitating the knee without surgery, she returned to the lineup for four games but continued to have problems.

The operation will repair damage to the anterior cruciate ligament in Mann’s left knee.
