Chula Vista Posts Comeback Victory

Garrard Galvan’s two three-pointers keyed a fourth-quarter comeback as Chula Vista High School beat Hilltop, 53-49, Monday night in a Metro Conference boys’ basketball game at Chula Vista.

Chula Vista (9-16 overall, 5-6 in league) outscored Hilltop, 19-9, in the final period. Galvan finished with nine points, all from three-point shots. Scott Matney led Chula Vista with 11 points.

Hilltop is 11-13, 7-4.
