Albuquerque Coach to Guide West Stars

Jim Hulsman, who recorded his 400th career victory at Albuquerque High School last month, was has been named to coach the West team in the All-American High School Basketball Game.

The game, which features 25 of the top high school seniors in the country, will be played April 17 at University Arena in Albuquerque and will be broadcast live nationwide.

The teams will be announced March 14 at a news conference in Chicago.

Hulsman, 57, has coached the Bulldogs to 19 consecutive winning seasons and to three state championships. He also has coached Albuquerque High to the state finals six other times.
