Local News in Brief : Anaheim : Stabbing Victim Found Dead in Industrial Area
An unidentified man in his 50s was found dead Sunday night in an alley of a light industrial area, authorities said.
The man, dressed casually and with some cash in his pocket but no wallet, apparently was stabbed several times in the upper torso somewhere else before being dumped in the 1100 block of North Grove Street, said Anaheim Police Lt. Peter De Paola.
A night shift employee arriving for work called police shortly after 11 p.m. to report a man lying in the alley, De Paola said.
“He was dumped where you couldn’t see him from the street,” De Paola said. The man apparently had not been dead long when his body was discovered, police said.
Police have no motive or suspect in the case, De Paola said.
