Florida State has purchased tickets for football players and prospects to attend wrestling matches, truck pulls and an Oak Ridge Boys concert, perhaps violating a disputed National Collegiate Athletic Assn. rule, the Tampa Tribune reported.
The newspaper reported the expenditures after a check of university records. Florida State officials said the practice was not a violation and they would ask the NCAA to clarify its regulation.
