Let Myricks Experience the Fanfare He Earned
In reference to your article on Larry Myricks (March 26): If Mr. Myricks deserves the bronze medal for placing third at the World Track Championships at Rome, then he also deserves, and should receive, the fanfare he earned. Myricks stated that he will never get the moment he would have had had he received the medal in Rome.
Maybe he could get something close. How about awarding him his medal at the Forum or Coliseum before a game?
