Former Louisiana State University forward Nikita Wilson entered a no contest plea through his lawyer to charges that he slugged a student and broke his nose last year in a dispute over a missing glass of beer.
The no contest plea is treated as a conviction, although it is not an admission of guilt, and exposes him to a possible sentence of six months in prison and a $500 fine. District Judge Mike Ponder ordered Wilson to make restitution to the victim for all actual medical costs.
