OSCAR REDUX

Oscar winner Michael Douglas had a lot to say on stage about his father, and movie tough-guy Kirk Douglas had a few sentimental things to say about his son on Tuesday: “I watched at home alone with my wife, which is a good thing because I would have hated to have people see me cry. Really it (Michael’s acceptance speech) was touching. I’ve always thought Michael had the potential to be a great actor, and I’m delighted that other people think so, too.”
