CITY CENTRAL LEAGUE

San Diego 5, Hoover 1--Cesar Ochoa started his first game of the season and pitched five innings as San Diego upset 10th-ranked Hoover. Josh Stepner had an RBI single in the first and with two outs, Keon Sly hit a two-run single for San Diego (107, 3-4). Hoover is 13-7, 6-2.

Crawford 7, San Diego 4--Crawford scored five runs in the first, three on a home run by Manny Gagliano, as Crawford took first place by a half-game over Hoover. Christian is 1-13, 1-6.

PALOMAR LEAGUE

Fallbrook 12, Orange Glen 11 (12)--Chris Dalton and Dirk Fisher each hit two home runs to lead host Fallbrook (11-5, 3-1). Twelve home runs were hit in the game, six by each team. Gavin Dooley, Sean Gousha and Matt Taylor each hit two home runs for Orange Glen (6-12-1, 0-4).
