The body of a 29-year-old Santee woman who had been stabbed to death was found Monday in her Graves Avenue apartment, authorities said.

The woman’s 2-year-old son was found unharmed in the apartment in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.

Diane Lynn Dahn, described as a communications technician, was found nude in a bedroom with multiple stab wounds to the upper body about 1 p.m., the spokesman said.

Dahn’s body was found by a friend who went to the apartment to check on her after she failed to show up for work Monday morning, the spokesman said.

The child was turned over to relatives.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives know of no motive for the slaying, the spokesman said.
