Quarterback Jim McMahon, concerned about reports earlier this week that he had failed his physical, said he hopes to stay healthy and play a full season with the Chicago Bears this fall.
“You guys are making up stories already,” McMahon told reporters at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Ill. “It surprised me when I saw it on TV.”
The rumors that he had failed his physical were dispelled when McMahon showed up for a mini-camp and went through full drills.
