Loyola Coach Hired by CS Long Beach
Dave Snow, who had a 161-82-1 record the last four seasons at Loyola Marymount, became the new baseball coach at Cal State Long Beach Wednesday.
He succeeds John Gonsalves, who retired after 19 years.
Loyola was 48-18 this season under Snow, whose best season was 1986 when the Lions went 50-15 and appeared in the College World Series.
Long Beach hasn’t had a winning season since 1983.
