Evans Butler shot a 34 for nine holes to win the A flight in the June tournament of the Penmar Men’s Golf Club. Other flight winners and their gross scores: Pete Vaughn, B, 37; David Gallagher, C, 37; Henry Pfefferkorn, D, 40, and Ken Peach, temporary handicaps, 39.

Holes in one were scored by Joseph L. Rotter of West Los Angeles at Penmar Golf Course and by Ablino Arauz of Los Angeles on the nine-hole course at Rancho Park.
