A preliminary autopsy report failed to reveal the cause of death of Bret Starr, 24-year-old son of Bart Starr, National Football League Hall of Fame quarterback, who found his son’s decomposed body Thursday morning at Bret Starr’s house in Tampa, Fla.

The report showed no signs of foul play or trauma to the body.

Investigators said Starr had been dead two or three days when his body was found on the floor of a dining area at the rear of the house his father had rented for him.
