Richard Dent’s agent, Steve Zucker, said he would go to court to overturn the 30-day suspension of the Chicago Bears’ defensive end for failing to take a National Football League drug test.
Dent and Bear fullback Calvin Thomas were suspended Wednesday by the league. Dent reportedly refused to take the drug test, and Thomas reportedly failed the test, his second violation. Thomas has entered an outpatient treatment program.
Zucker is seeking a court order that would allow Dent to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
