White Announces Top College Picks

There is the Pacific 10 Conference, the Big Ten, the Bottom 10 and now, we have Crespi High tailback Russell White’s Top 10.

White, ranked as the nation’s top running back prospect by several publications, issued his list of college finalists before Friday night’s game against Redlands.

White and his mother Helen spent several nights this week paring the list to the final 10--no easy process, he said.

Here, in no particular order, are White’s preferences: Notre Dame; USC; Washington; Colorado; Arizona State; Arizona; Penn State; Michigan; Cal; and Texas A&M.;

“It’s all wide open,” White said. “It’s all even and I don’t really have a favorite.”
