Betts and Wynalda Lead San Diego State to Win Over Fullerton
SAN DIEGO —
Jeff Betts and Eric Wynalda scored goals and Curtis McAlister and Bryan Finnerty combined on a shutout to lead San Diego State to a 2-0 victory over Cal State Fullerton in a nonconference college soccer game Monday night in Aztec Bowl.
San Diego State, ranked No. 1 on the West Coast in the coaches’ poll, improved to 5-0. The Aztecs held Cal State Fullerton (1-2-1) without a shot on goal in the first half.
