Win or lose in the World Series, it has been a wild--and wildly improbable--season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The National League champions will face the favored Oakland Athletics in Games 1 and 2 of the best-of-seven series from Dodger Stadium today and Sunday at 5:25 p.m. on NBC (4)(36)(39).

Viewers who prefer college football can choose from a couple of dandies today: No. 1-rated Miami vs. No. 4 Notre Dame at 11:30 a.m. (2)(8), and No. 3 USC hosting No. 16-ranked Washington from the Coliseum at 12:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42).
