Two Drown When Using Boat Taken From Trash

MIAMI —
A man died in an unsuccessful effort to save his drowning wife on their first outing in a 12-foot aluminum boat retrieved from a neighbor’s trash, police and friends said.
The boat apparently was overloaded with three adults and their fishing tackle when it capsized early Sunday on Miller Lake, police said.
