Top-Ranked UCLA Women to Play Host to Four-Team Volleyball Tournament
The UCLA women’s volleyball team, the only undefeated team in the country, will play host to the Pacific 10 Conference Challenge, a 4-team tournament, tonight and Saturday at Pauley Pavilion.
Top-ranked UCLA (19-0) will team up with No. 14 USC and play against two teams from the High Country Athletic Conference--No. 8 Brigham Young University and unranked Colorado State. The conference with the best tournament record will win.
UCLA is scheduled to play Colorado State tonight at 6, with USC and BYU playing at 8 p.m. On Saturday, USC will play Colorado State at 6 p.m. and UCLA will play BYU at 8 p.m.
Last year, Colorado State defeated USC and BYU beat UCLA to knock both teams out of the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. playoffs.
