Manning’s Gamble May Be Too Costly
I just don’t understand Danny Manning. Doesn’t he realize that he is not Magic; he is not Bird? What he is, is a rookie. Particularly in light of his performance during the Olympics, he should come in with the attitude of proving his ability to perform at the professional level.
As it is, he is taking a gamble of ruining his rookie year. I’d trade the rights to him for Charles Barkley or Karl Malone in a minute.
