1 Killed, 4 Hurt in Carlsbad Crash
One person was killed and four others were injured Sunday in Carlsbad when two cars on Rancho Santa Fe Road collided head-on.
The accident occurred at 3:25 p.m., just north of Cadencia Street, police said, when a car carrying a San Marcos woman southbound on Rancho Santa Fe Road veered into the northbound lanes, striking a car carrying a Carlsbad family of four.
The names of the victims were not immediately available.
