A $250,000 fire at a Garden Grove office building was deliberately set, but authorities said they could not comment on a possible motive. Vince Bonacker, Garden Grove Fire Department battalion chief, said the fire “did a lot of damage” to the second-story offices of JAL Marketing, 13139 Harbor Blvd., at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday. No one was in the building and no one was injured. The offices of a financial company on the first floor suffered heavy water damage. The fire is under investigation, but authorities expect a development before Thanksgiving, Bonacker said.
