Fatal accident: A 33-year-old man was killed early Tuesday when his car slammed into a tree on Buaro Street, just south of Chapman Avenue, police said. Sgt. Mark Byrna said that the driver may have fallen asleep. The victim was identified as Greg Gordon, 33, of Garden Grove. He was alone in the car, and no other vehicles were involved in the 3:15 a.m. accident, Byrna said.
