Fire Breaks Out in Hotel Generator
A fire broke out Wednesday night in an auxiliary generator at the Red Lion Inn in Costa Mesa, but no one was reported injured and no evacuations were ordered, authorities said.
A spokeswoman for the Costa Mesa Fire Department said the “stubborn little fire” appeared to be restricted within an exhaust flue for the generator.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
