New York Giants cornerback Mark Collins will be out the remainder of the season after undergoing a hernia operation at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Collins, a former Cal State Fullerton player, is eligible to come off the injured list the weekend of Dec. 31, but is expected not to return to play, Coach Bill Parcells said.
