Bradley Urges Donations to Quake Victims

Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley called Friday for local donations to assist earthquake victims in Soviet Armenia.
Bradley said the Armenian Apostolic Church at 1201 N. Vine St. will accept cash and medical supplies such as antibiotics and blood, as well as technical equipment. The church phone number is (213) 466-5265.
“The people of Soviet Armenia need our help now,” Bradley said. “In addition, if there are seismic engineers who could assist in on-site emergency rebuilding and relief efforts in Soviet Armenia, their services would be greatly appreciated.”
