‘Make Schools Businesslike’

Obviously Dean Solmon only stepped out of his ivory tower long enough to golf with LAUSD administrators.

Now I recommend that Mr. Solmon take a semester’s sabbatical from his tower and go teach seventh grade English for one semester at a junior high in Watts.

Then I might be ready to read his column and assume there’s a bit of reality in it.
