In the Carson City tournament:

El Toro 65, Carson City 62--Khari Johnson had 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead El Toro (5-4) in a round-robin game at Carson City. Greg Everett scored 14 points and Mike Shannon 13 for the Chargers. Everett also had 10 rebounds.

In the Patrick Henry tournament:

Los Alamitos 83, El Capitan 42--Robert Conlisk had 24 points and 18 rebounds as the Griffins got their first victory of the season in a consolation game at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego. Conlisk made 11 of 12 shots. Mike Wilson scored 15 points and Todd Cheseboro 12 for the Griffins (1-7).

In the Roosevelt tournament:

Trabuco Hills 70, Roosevelt 47--Rick Swanwick had 19 points and 9 rebounds to lead Trabuco Hills in the third-place game. Chad Poulos scored 15 points and Randy Kriech 13 for the Mustangs (5-3), who outscored Roosevelt, 18-8, in the second quarter.

In the San Dieguito tournament:

Newport Harbor 90, San Marcos 63--The Sailors scored 31 points in the second quarter to take a 44-22 halftime lead in a consolation game. Chris Lee led all scorers with 28 points, Eddie Martinez added 17 and Chris Lee 10 for Newport Harbor (5-4). All 11 players scored for the Sailors.

In nonleague games:

Foothill 62, Los Amigos 60--The host Knights rallied from a 7-point deficit in the fourth quarter for the victory. Los Amigos led, 56-49, entering the quarter but was outscored, 13-4, the rest of the way.

Foothill’s Ward Van Pelt tied the score at 60-60 with 58 seconds left. After a steal by Corey Parker, Mark Wilkinson scored on a layup with 6 seconds left for the victory.

Wilkinson scored 19 points for the Knights (6-4). Carlos Palomino scored 26 points for Los Amigos.

Perris 67, Sunny Hills 58--Five Perris players scored in double figures at Sunny Hills. Perris took a 49-40 lead after three quarters, but Sunny Hills (6-3) battled back to take a 2-point lead in the fourth quarter before fading.

The Lancers were playing their fifth game in 6 days. Sunny Hills’ Marcus Hopkins led all scorers with 14 points. Jeff White added 13 and Jon Beuerlein 12 for the Lancers.

Santa Ana 74, Westminster 41--Mike Zamora and Oscar Wilson each scored 19 points to lead the Saints (7-3) at Westminster. Santa Ana led, 47-38, entering the fourth quarter but out-scored the Lions, 27-3, to turn the game into a rout. Tim Dietel scored 17 points for Westminster (2-6).

El Modena 84, Orange 53--Robbie Pietsch and John Darrow domininated inside play as the Vanguards (7-2) won at Orange. Pietsch scored 37 points and had 13 rebounds and Darrow scored 26 points. Rick Afalva led Orange (2-4) with 13 points and Ron Sallinger added 11.

Saddleback 48, Dana Hills 44--Craig Marshall scored 13 points and Tony Agnew 11 to lead the Roadrunners (9-1) at Dana Hills. Saddleback trailed, 24-20, at halftime, but outscored the Dolphins, 16-7, in the third quarter. John Lloyd scored 15 points and Chris Delfs 12 for Dana Hills (8-3).

Villa Park 61, Loara 48--Chris Johnson scored 22 points to lead host Villa Park (6-2). The Spartans led, 20-4, at the end of the first quarter. Chris Kirby scored 15 points for Villa Park Joe Gaudio scored 16 points for Orange (2-6).

Laguna Hills 65, University 56--Bill Shellenberg scored 18 points and Chris Sheff 17 to lead Laguna Hills (4-3) at University. Eric Glassen scored 14 points for University (5-5).

Capistrano Valley 74, Australia Merrimac 71--Scott McCorkle scored 24 points and Bill Mazurie 23 to lead host Capistrano Valley (6-3).
