One County Surfer Survives 3rd Round

Chris Billy of San Juan Capistrano was the only unseeded Orange County surfer to make it through the third round in the Billabong Pro event off Sunset Beach in Hawaii Wednesday.

Dino Andino of San Clemente and Noah Budroe of Huntington Beach were eliminated in the second round. Jeff Booth of Laguna Beach and Jim Hogan of Capistrano Beach were eliminated in the third round in 3-5-foot surf.
