Fresno St. Women End Fullerton Streak at 10

Fresno State stopped Cal State Fullerton’s 10-game winning streak Thursday with a 66-46 victory in a Big West Conference women’s basketball team Thursday at Fullerton.

Fullerton shot 26% (7 of 27) in the first half as Fresno opened a 33-16 lead. Things didn’t get any better for the Titans in the second half when they shot 25% (8 of 32).

Yvette Roberts scored a game-high 23 points and Simone Srubek added 14 for Fresno (11-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play). Felicia Benson scored 14 and Gena Miller had 10 for Fullerton (11-2, 3-1).
