PREP BASKETBALL : Orange League Roundup : Walker Scores 32 to Lead Brea Past Anaheim

Keith Walker scored 32 points to lead Brea-Olinda High School to a 66-60 victory over Anaheim in an Orange League basketball game Friday night at Brea-Olinda.
Walker also had 8 rebounds for the Wildcats (14-8, 3-1). Aaron Charlton added 10 points and 14 rebounds and Matt Chamberlain had 7 points and 11 rebounds for Brea-Olinda.
Anaheim made 12 3-pointers, led by Danny Castro, who made 5 and had 17 points. Lupe Alvarez made 3 3-pointers and scored 13 points for Anaheim (7-10, 0-4).
Savanna 65, Valencia 51--Mustapha Abdi scored 18 points to lead Savanna (18-1, 4-0) at Valencia. The Rebels led, 28-24, and outscored Valencia, 22-9, in the third quarter to take a 50-33 lead. Tim Tillman and Eric Preuss each scored 10 points for Savanna. Rudy Lopez scored 19 points and Steve Dodd 17 for Valencia (4-9, 1-3).
Western 68, Magnolia 49--At Western, the Pioneers (12-5, 2-2) led, 18-9, at the end of the first quarter and 32-20 at halftime. John Armenta scored 17 points, Joe Romero 16 and Sam Sabbara 14 for Western. Richard McKey scored 21 points for the Sentinels (8-8, 2-2).
