Sports : Worthy, 6 Others Join All-Star Team
Laker forward James Worthy and guard Clyde Drexler and center Kevin Duckworth, both of Portland, were among seven players added today to the NBA Western Conference team for the Feb. 12 All-Star Game.
The other reserves, chosen by the conference coaches, were forwards Tom Chambers of Phoenix and Chris Mullin of Golden State, and guard John Stockton and center Mark Eaton of Utah.
Previously selected as starters in fan balloting were guards Magic Johnson of the Lakers and Dale Ellis of Seattle, center Akeem Olajuwon of Houston, and forwards Karl Malone of Utah and Alex English of Denver.
