Poly 40, Grant 39--Jackie Eto hit a 16-foot jump shot with eight seconds to play for the Parrots in the East Valley League game.
Eto scored 12 points and teammate Julie Dawson added 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Birmingham 52, Sylmar 16--Charlie Johnson scored 16 points--all in the first half--and teammate Lisa Feldsher added 12 in the East Valley League game at Sylmar.
Taft 48, Canoga Park 40--Senior Marie Maxwell scored a season-high 14 points and freshman Alissa Tishler added 13 for Taft in the West Valley League game at Taft.
Van Nuys 59, Monroe 39--Stacie Toon scored 20 points to lead Van Nuys in a Mid-Valley League game. Tina Ishimaru scored 11 points for Monroe.
El Camino Real 64, Chatsworth 46--Cathy Balint (15 points) and Lisa Huffaker (13) led second-place El Camino Real to a North Valley League win at Chatsworth.
