Police are seeking a Tujunga man after he allegedly shot and killed another man in the front yard of his Sunland home.

James A. Bailey, 28, was shot several times in the chest about 5:15 p.m. Monday near the door of the trailer home where he lived in the 10700 block of Nassau Avenue, Los Angeles Detective Marshall White said. He was taken to Pacifica Hospital of the Valley, where he was pronounced dead.

White said investigators were seeking Vanglis D. Garafolo, 31, of Tujunga in connection with the case, but his whereabouts were not known. Garafolo and Bailey were acquaintances but the motive for the shooting was not known, White said.
