Garcia Connects for 2 Grand Slams and 3-Run Homer

Ed Garcia hit two grand slams and a three-run home run to lead Brea-Olinda High School to a 21-9 victory over La Habra in a nonleague baseball game Tuesday at Brea.
Garcia, a senior center fielder in his second season of varsity play, hit grand slams in the first and the fifth innings. His three-run home run came in the second. He also was hit by a pitch and was walked intentionally. He finished three for three with 11 RBIs for Brea-Olinda (2-1).
Chad Marlow and Aaron Charlton had three hits each for Brea, which had 18 hits.
Tim Moore had a grand slam for La Habra (2-1).
